Amalgamate Technologies LLC builds vertical AI platforms for dentistry and healthcare. Our first product is Sai for Dentists, an AI agent that retrieves EOBs, posts insurance payments and reconciles bank deposits for dental offices.
Why we started
Amalgamate was founded by Dr. Salem Sayegh, a general dentist in Glendora, California. Dr. Sayegh's own practice keeps two full-time employees on insurance administration every day: signing in to payer portals, downloading statements, reading them and typing the results into the practice software.
That work is necessary, repetitive and expensive, and it grows with every patient a practice adds. Amalgamate exists to take it off the front office's hands without asking the office to change its portals, its software or its routines.
How we build
The name is the method. We amalgamate three groups that rarely sit at the same table: dental billers who know how claims and payments really behave, AI engineers, and dentists who run practices. Each product is shaped with the people who will use it.
Sai for Dentists is built with Simular, the company behind Sai, an AI agent that operates a computer the way a person does. Because Sai works through the screen, it is not limited to payers or practice management systems that offer an integration. A dental billing engine checks posting decisions against payer rules, with billing specialists reviewing anything uncertain.
Where we are now
We are enrolling a first cohort of Southern California dental offices as design partners. Cohort offices use Sai free of charge while we tune it to their workflows, then move to fixed startup pricing once the product is in production.
